Nice big dryer with smart drying

This is our first front loading dryer and that feature alone is amazing. Overall this dryer was worth the price with the various settings saving me a lot of time restarting the dryer on thicker or heavier loads. The sensing technology works surprisingly well to increase dry time if needed. This is particularly helpful with heavier items like blankets or thick hoodies and sweatshirts. Ive never had a dryer that would actually dry those items in a single run and this dryer does with no issues. Im very happy with the purchase and happy with all of the LG appliances we have purchased for our new house.

The dryer after 6 months is making a squeaking noise internally so much so that the sound can be heard in the other room. Called LG two weeks ago and have heard nothing back other than the very initial generic response. Shouldnt have this problem in a machine only a few months old. The machine is not overloaded or abused in anyway.

I purchased this electric dryer a couple of weeks ago. Its stylish and works great. The only disappointment is that it only connects to a 2.4GHz wifi network and mine is 5.0GHz so it wont connect. Hopefully LG has a firmware update for that before long as most networks are going 5GHz.

Great after replacement

We received the washer and dryer and were disappointed when the hot water ran and did not stop with the unit off. There were so many issues with delivery its not even funny but not the manufacturers fault. Once replaced the new washer had a dent in the side. We accepted it and did receive a discount but after two weeks we needed clean clothes So far both units are working great and we have no complaints. Washer spins so well the clothes feel almost dry coming out.

normal cycle cannot dry one shirt

Upon first use the normal cycle cannot dry even 1 shirt only the high cycle works. Also fairly certain we were given a used unit although we purchased it brand new. It had dirt in the drum from prior use. Terrible experience overall. See photo of drum prior to use. This dryer is completely useles. Worse purchase ever made. Customer service at LG is a nightmare and they pass the buck after dumping a defective product on us.

AWESOME DRYER

We just purchased this dryer on December 23rd. After reading the instructions it was refreshing to know that the app assists users with the product. My favorite tool is the notification on the app that lets you know when your drying session has completed as well as letting you know that the vent needs to be cleaned.

We love this large capacity dryer. Its very quiet and easy to learn options. The only issue I have is and this could be an operator issue when I select normal dry function there is no heat. Ive been using another function and it works fine.

Keeps loosing power

The dryer would be great but it periodically stops working completely. The only solution is to turn off the breaker for 5-10 minutes and then turn back in and it will work. Two repair technicians had no other solutions for it. This is not acceptable for a new expensive appliance. All service requests are is computerized and very frustrating.

Dryer now makes noise - TERRIBLE Customer Service

Dryer started making noise 4 months after installation. The noise now fills the house while the dryer runs. The dryer did not make this noise when purchased. Called LG customer service and they offer ZERO help and refuse to send technician.

Makes laundry day a pleasure

We purchased our product from Best Buy and the service was excellent. We received our call when arrival would be and installation went smoothly. I love my new Dryer as this is the 2nd one ever purchased. This replaced my 13 yr old previous one from which we brought from upstate NY 7 yrs ago. I decided to stay with LG as I like the features of this model because I never had a repair issue the entire 13 yrs I owned my other and it finally decided to quit. I cant say enough about LG Washer and Dryers but ir would be a good investment and HIGHLY recommend the quality. This model is not the highest but it does offer everything for my needs. KUDOS for LG for having the technology to create a superb product.

Saved me from a fire

These new dryers are amazing. I didnt know that I had a 90 blockage in my lint vent until I received my new dryer. Thanks to that setting I was able to get my vents cleaned out and saved myself from a potential fire. And it does a great job drying.

I love this LG washer. Runs so quiet. Easy to use. clothes come very clean. Just needs lights behind the front pandle so you can see what buttons you are pushing with out turning on lights.would highly recommend this washer.

My new LG is a refreshing upgrade from my previous set. Wed began to have issues with old set. It fits perfectly and saves a lot of space. Its a little noisier than previous set. It doesnt use unnecessary energy. I think we made a hood choice.

We have had this dryer for approximately 2 months now and I love it We purchased the black steel color and it looks great in our small utility room space. It dries so quickly. There is a light that lights up when the cycle is complete. We love having it connected to WI-FI and being able to be notified when the cycle is complete.

We are happy with the wash quality of this machine. Only wish the panel was lit to show the menu settings on the front panel. You need to turn the lights on to see what you are programing..the older model we had had all of the lights needed to see the panel.
